How Much Does Custom Color Cost at Alchemy Park?

Full custom color sessions at Alchemy Park range from $325 to $375, including your blow dry. If you've been searching around for "balayage pricing," this is the number you're actually looking for, we just build it a little differently than a standard balayage service.

What Affects Your Price Within That Range

Two things move your price inside the $325 to $375 range: which stylist you see, and how much hair you're working with. Every custom color service includes a blended root and toner no matter what, so those aren't add-ons, they're built into the base price.

If You Have Extra Thick Hair

Extra thick hair takes more time, more product, and more hands-on technique to get an even, lived-in result. If that's you, expect a range of $375 to $425 instead. Your stylist will let you know at your consultation which range applies to you, before you ever sit down for color.

Adding a Tip Out

If you want a solid, saturated blonde through the ends rather than a softer blend, that's what we call a tip out, and it's an additional $50 on top of your service. It's a great option if you love the lived-in look up top but want something bolder and more solid at the ends.

How Often You'll Actually Pay This Price

A full custom color service isn't something you repeat every few weeks. We recommend a full service once every 6 to 12 months. In between, you're not paying full price again, you're coming in for a mini refresh or full refresh, both of which cost less and keep your color looking lived-in without redoing the whole process from scratch. Think of the full service as a reset, not a recurring expense.

What's Included in Every Custom Color Service

No matter which price range you land in, every custom color appointment includes your consultation, the color application, a blended root, a toner to perfect the tone, and a full blow dry to finish. You're not walking out the door with wet, unstyled hair after paying for color, and you're not getting a surprise charge for a toner you assumed was included.

Why We Don't List One Flat Number

You may have noticed some salons advertise a single flat price for "balayage," then add on charges once you're already in the chair for length, thickness, or extra product. We'd rather tell you the real range upfront and confirm your exact price and stylist at your consultation, before you commit to anything. No surprises at checkout, and no guessing what you'll actually be charged.

How to Get an Exact Quote

The only way to get an exact price is a quick, in-person or virtual consultation where your colorist can actually see your hair and talk through what you want. It takes a few minutes and you'll leave knowing your exact cost, your stylist, and your timeline before you book your full appointment.
