Timeline & Your Color Client Journey: From Consultation to Refresh

Every color guest at Alchemy Park starts a 1-Year Color Journey, a personalized roadmap your colorist keeps on file, and you get a copy of too, tracking your goals and appointments together over the year ahead. Here's what that actually looks like, step by step.

Step 1: Consultation

Every journey starts here. You bring your inspo photos, your colorist talks through your goals and your hair's history, and you land on a realistic plan, price, and timeline before anything happens to your hair.

Step 2: Your First Color Appointment

Finished lived-in color result representing the full 1-Year Color Journey at Alchemy Park

This is your full custom color service. You'll be offered a drink, water or a mimosa, and if you need to work through your appointment, phone chargers and a lap desk are on hand. Because we don't double book, your stylist is with you the entire time. Once your color has processed, you're rinsed and toned in our lay-back, relaxing shampoo bowls, built to take the strain out of your neck, then finished with a full blow dry, so you leave styled, not just colored.

Step 3: Living With Your Color

After you leave, you'll get an email with your home care information, a real reminder of everything your stylist walked you through, not something you have to try to remember on your own. Simple habits like a sulfate-free shampoo and a purple or blue toning shampoo help your color stay true between visits.

Step 4: Refresh Appointments

How often you're back in the chair depends entirely on your goal. Guests focused on gray coverage and toner often come in every 4 to 6 weeks to keep regrowth from showing. Guests maintaining lived-in color typically stretch closer to every 12 weeks for a mini or full refresh. Others are on a longer runway entirely, coming back around every 6 months. There's no single right cadence, it's whatever keeps you on track for the specific goal you and your colorist set together.

Step 5: Your Next Full Service

A full custom color service is only recommended once every 6 to 12 months. This is your full reset point, refresh appointments carry you through the months in between.

Why We Track This With You

Not every guest wants the same thing from their hair. Some are working to rehabilitate damaged or over-processed hair back to health. Some want to feel put together without spending hours in the chair every few weeks. Some are chasing the lightest, brightest blonde they can get to safely. Your goal is what shapes your journey, and it's different for every person who sits in the chair.

That's what your 1-Year Color Journey is actually tracking, not just your appointment history, but the goal behind it. Every refresh, every full service, every conversation gets measured against what you're actually working toward, so your colorist can tell you honestly whether you're on track, or whether the plan needs to adjust. You're not just getting the same service repeated. You're being kept moving toward your specific goal.
